Healthy Boys are a British-Scandinavian producer duo consisting of James Jacob and Kristian Stockhaus. After meeting at a songwriting camp in Bergen, they bonded over a mutual love of heavy metal and went on to collaborate at Kristian’s studio, deep in a maze of old industrial buildings in the city’s dock. Their debut single “Muscles”, released last year on Norway imprint KRÜX was a sweaty techno stomper that gained support from the likes of Skream, AME and Richie Hawtin. With a thing for DIY aesthetics, late nineties electroclash and bitcrushed 90 9s, the pair look set to make techno a whole lot weirder in 2020.
